Cheap Flights

Cheap flights offered by discount airlines are ideal for people who are looking for a cheap holiday. Many budget airlines are able to offer very cheap flights, particularly over short distances. Companies such as Ryan Air operate numerous flights throughout Europe at a very low cost, and although the level of comfort and standards of service passengers may experience whilst travelling on a budget flight may not be as high as if they travelled with a more expensive airline the level of saving more than makes up for this. A further disadvantage to travelling with a budget airline is that they often place restrictions on the amount of luggage you can carry, so its best to travel light when travelling on cheap flights.

Many budget airlines, which already offer extremely low fairs will be able to offer their customers even lower fares in the off peak seasons and some companies will offer huge discounts for people who buy their tickets in last minute special offers. Many people take advantage of these offers made by budget airlines and land deals on unfeasibly cheap flights.

Budget airlines have faced some controversy in the past, particularly from environmental groups who have argued that encouraging people to make frequent inexpensive flights has a negative impact on the environment. Despite this outcry though budget airlines are still going strong, and many holiday makers and travellers cannot resist their extremely cheap flights, regardless of their impact on the environment.
